What Skills Connect Pro does

Skills Connect Pro helps customers describe a service job, invite local providers and manage their responses. Providers are independent from Skills Connect Pro. A customer and a chosen provider agree the scope, price, timing and performance of a job directly with each other.

Your information

Give accurate contact and project or business information that you are entitled to share. Do not upload unlawful, misleading or harmful material, or include sensitive details that are unnecessary for a service request. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Quotes and estimates

Any preliminary estimate or AI assisted suggestion on the site is for planning. It is not a provider quote or a promise of a final price, outcome or availability. Confirm the details of the work directly with the provider before it starts.

Provider plans, lead packs and billing

Providers may purchase monthly platform access plans or once-off lead-credit packs. All prices are in South African rand and are shown before payment. Monthly plans renew monthly through Payfast until cancelled. Lead packs are once-off purchases and do not create a recurring payment.

A provider plan gives access to Skills Connect Pro marketplace features; it does not guarantee a number of jobs, customer acceptance, revenue or a completed project. A lead credit is used only when the provider unlocks and responds to a new customer opportunity.

Cancellations and refunds

A provider may cancel a monthly plan at any time by contacting Skills Connect Pro through the support channel below. Cancellation stops future renewals once it has been confirmed, but does not reverse access already supplied for the current paid period. Once-off lead packs and paid plan periods are generally non-refundable after access has been activated, except where required by law or where Skills Connect Pro cannot provide the purchased access due to our own technical error.

Payment processing is handled by Payfast. Skills Connect Pro does not store card details. If you believe a payment is incorrect, contact us promptly with the Payfast payment reference so that we can investigate.

Acceptable use

Use the service for genuine requests and responses. Do not impersonate another person, misuse someone else’s contact details, send spam, attempt to access restricted parts of the service or scrape provider and customer information. We may restrict misuse of the service.

WhatsApp communications

If you choose to contact us or receive project updates through WhatsApp, those communications also depend on WhatsApp’s service and its terms. You can contact us about a message or your information using the channel below.
